Purpose of the Role
This role is responsible for providing strategic leadership, fostering a culture of excellence and driving operational efficiency to ensure the successful delivery of projects and customer satisfaction.

Profitability: Develop and execute strategies to maximize project profitability and achieve financial targets. Analyse project budgets, costs, and revenue streams to identify opportunities for margin improvement and cost optimisation.
Revenue Generation: Identify opportunities to expand revenue streams through value-added services, upselling, and cross-selling. Collaborate with sales and business development teams to drive new business opportunities and maximize revenue potential.
Cost Control: Implement cost-effective strategies to optimise project delivery costs while maintaining quality standards and customer satisfaction. Identify areas for cost reduction, negotiate favourable vendor contracts, and streamline operational processes to improve efficiency.
Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality standards and best practices for project management to ensure deliverables meet or exceed client expectations. Conduct regular reviews and audits to assess performance and drive continuous improvement.
Governance: Work with the Compliance Manager to develop and implement governance frameworks to ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and client requirements. Define project roles and responsibilities, establish decision-making processes, and enforce accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to minimize impact on project objectives and profitability. Develop risk management strategies and contingency plans to address potential threats and opportunities

Essential Experience
- Experience in delivering large scale, complex projects requiring teams of 10+ people and timescales of 12months+
- Proven track record of successfully leading diverse and remote teams to achieve business objectives and drive customer satisfaction.
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving practical solutions to complex challenges.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies in Agile and Waterfall environments.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies and systems
Reporting to
Director of Project Services
Location
This is a hybrid role and can be based either from our Reading, Glasgow or Manchester offices, or home. Regular, planned travel which will involve overnight stays near customers or our offices and other UK locations for meetings, events and training.
