His main goal is to keep a good balance between the two. His approach shows that success isn’t just about working hard but also about managing time wisely, staying motivated, and making time for things that matter outside of work. Whether you're looking for tips on productivity or just inspiration to improve your daily routine, his insights are definitely worth a read!

What’s your work routine?

Wake up at 6:30, pray and workout before starting the day. I always start working a little early to make sure I have a clear inbox before 9 am and always aim to finish by 6.

What’s one misconception about technology projects you’ve come across?

One big misconception about tech projects is that they're all about the tech. People often forget that success depends just as much on good communication, teamwork, and understanding everyone's needs. Without these, even the best tech in the world will fail.

What metrics matter most in a tech project?

It's crucial to focus on business value, ensuring the project delivers real business benefits like increased revenue, improved customer satisfaction or operational efficiency. Of course making sure that the project is on time, on budget and the quality is not compromised.

Something you wish you’d known about your work when you first started?

To balance technical skills with people skills and to have a commercial mindset. When I first started, I thought success was all about mastering the latest technologies. But over time, I realised that effective communication, teamwork, and understanding the business side are just as crucial. These skills help bridge the gap between technology and its adoption, making  everything I do more successful and rewarding.

What did your biggest professional failure teach you?

My biggest professional failure taught me the value of resilience and adaptability, as they say, failures are opportunities to learn from to do better.

The #1 thing that helps organisations get value from their technology projects?

Complete alignment of business and technology strategies, without this technology projects don't add much value.

Your parting piece of advice?

Technology is just an enabler, having a clear vision and the right people and partner with you on this journey is what truly drives success. It's all about combining innovative tech with a strong vision and a great team to make amazing things happen.
