The Challenges:
- Hundreds of disconnected systems: FORCE Technology provides testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) services to an incredibly broad range of industries, from headphones, to wind energy, to maritime and space technology... and beyond. In the past, this lead to inefficiencies and lack of visibility due to the creation of hundreds of different systems designed to capture the wide variety of processes in the organization.
- Multiple data entries across many systems: With so many disparate systems, data-driven decisions were a challenge for FORCE Technology.
- Challenges in scaling for growth: FORCE Technology's IT infrastructure was not designed to support the company's growth and goals to expand into new, digital service lines.
- Not future-ready: Finally, IT leadership recognized that the previous IT infrastructure would be a limiting factor in enterprise AI-adoption, which is increasingly requested from the workforce.
The Solutions:
- Unified strategy: IT leadership conducted an analysis and recognized that their business processes could be organized into four main processes. By implementing D365 Project Operations and D365 Field Service, FORCE Technology will be able to consolidate their hundreds of systems into a single platform, providing greater efficiency and ease.
- Data platform: By bringing their processes into one platform, FORCE Technology is eliminating redundant data entry, enabling them to unlock business insights and become a data-driven organization.
