6,500 ATU employees simultaneously work with Microsoft Dynamics AX
The employees of ATU will be using Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 for their Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). Introducing the latest generation of cloud-based ERP software.
Half of the 13,000 employees working in Europe for ATU (Auto-Teile-Unger) will use Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 for their Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) in the future. With over 630 locations in Germany, Austria, Italy, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, and the Netherlands, ATU is the market leader in Europe for brand-independent automotive service companies. ATU was acquired by the French Mobivia Groupe, one of the largest operators of workshop concepts in Europe, at the end of 2016. In early 2018, Michelin also joined the network of fitters.
Necessity of a new system
Since its establishment in 1985, the organization has experienced strong growth, leading to the need for a new integrated system. They sought a system that is both standardized and scalable, while also being able to cover their industry-specific functionality. The industry solution provided by HSO, combined with standard Microsoft Dynamics AX, offers both to ATU. A total of 6,500 users will be using the industry solution based on Microsoft Dynamics AX.
Microsoft sees this as further evidence that Dynamics AX, complemented by the added value of our partners, has a lot to offer for large organizations.
Intensive collaboration
After an extensive performance test lasting 6 months, which demonstrated that 6,500 employees could work simultaneously with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009, ATU awarded the contract to HSO. Peter J. ter Maaten, CEO of HSO, stated: "We conducted the performance test jointly with Microsoft Development in technology centers available in Munich, Houston, and Redmond. After this intensive collaboration, successfully completing the test is certainly a crowning achievement. I am also very pleased with this contract for our organization."
Extensive implementation experience
"We are very pleased that ATU has awarded this contract to HSO International. HSO is one of our key partners with extensive implementation experience, often gained from international clients." - Theo Rinsema, General Manager Microsoft Netherlands.
